Our Client Our client is an established Brisbane‑based freight forwarding company with a strong reputation. Operating out of Brisbane’s northern suburbs, they’ve built a fantastic business with exceptional staff retention. They are in active growth mode and seeking team players who are eager to grow with them. The Role This Logistics Coordinator position involves coordinating land, air and sea freight movements through Australian ports, working collaboratively with Customer Service and Customs teams. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will manage end‑to‑end shipment coordination. Key Responsibilities Managing import documentation and Delivery Order collection Coordinating with CTOs, CFSs, Shipping Lines, Airlines, and Co‑loaders Liaising with Government Agencies (Quarantine/Customs) for compliance Tracking cargo via Customs Integrated Cargo System Organising transport and coordinating service providers Checking freight against manifests and cargo labelling Supporting Customs and Quarantine inspections Delivering exceptional customer service Monitoring costs and managing client claims About You Strong organisational and time‑management abilities Professional communication style with genuine desire to learn High ethical standards and integrity Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication Consent to police background check (Customs requirement) Import/export logistics experience useful but not required Tertiary education qualifications useful but not required Strong work ethic, reliability with early starts, and communication skills are essential.
