The opportunity Reporting to the Head of Digital and Content, the Production Manager will provide strategic leadership, guiding the development and execution of Collingwood's video production and graphic design schedule. The ideal candidate for this role will be a collaborative leader who can unite stakeholders across the organisation to deliver on commercial and marketing goals while leading a high performing team. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Vision & Leadership Lead and manage a multidisciplinary production team of video producers, editors, and graphic designers. Implement creative workflows, systems, production schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of projects. Set and drive clear team goals while fostering an environment that values creativity, collaboration, efficiency, and professional growth. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including freelance producers. Production and Content Drive end-to-end production of content for social media, digital platforms, broadcast, in-stadium, and commercial partner platforms. Ensure creative output aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and the Club’s tone of voice. Identify opportunities to innovate and share the stories of the Club through emerging formats, tools, and technologies. Manage production budget, schedule, and logistics. Implement and maintain efficient post-production workflows and asset management systems. Uphold best-practice standards in accessibility and content compliance. Manage Club studio bookings and equipment inventory. Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate with departments across the Club to integrate and maximise digital and content strategies, aligning them with broader commercial and marketing initiatives. Ensure that content supports the overall marketing and product strategy, enhancing fan engagement and commercial revenue opportunities. Commercial & Partnership integration Collaborate with Social Media and Commercial Partnerships teams to deliver annual branded content schedule and partner integrations. Embed commercial ideation into creative planning and production, ensuring content aligns with sponsor deliverables and revenue-driving campaigns. About you To be successful as the Production Manager , you will have: Minimum 5 years’ experience in creative production, preferability within sport, media, entertainment, or agency environments. High-level project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience with Adobe Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder desired. Proven ability to manage video production workflows, including pre-production, production, and post-production. Strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional writing, proofreading, communication, and organisational skills with superior attention to detail. A growth mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring high-quality output. Expertise in the latest digital trends and digital platform optimisation. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and uphold professional conduct, ethics and confidentiality.
