About the role We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our talented team at PanelTech Systems in Laverton North, Victoria. As our Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective production operations of our manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Laverton North. What you’ll be doing Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and business objectives Overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring all production processes are completed on time and to the highest quality standards Leading and motivating a team of production personnel, providing direction, training and performance management Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency and cost-effectiveness Monitoring production metrics and KPIs, and reporting on performance to senior management Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments, such as sales, procurement and quality control What we’re looking for 8+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries Strong technical understanding of production processes and manufacturing equipment Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and organisational skills Proven track record of leading and motivating production teams to achieve targets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels Proficient in the use of production management software and data analysis tools Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline are highly desirable What we offer Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Comprehensive training and development opportunities Flexible work arrangements and a focus on work-life balance Opportunities for career progression and advancement If you are passionate about production management and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply now.
