Lakewood is located 6km from Kalgoorlie, with our mining operations located within a 40km radius of the processing facility. Roster: 8/6, day shift only. About the Opportunity Reporting to the HSE Coordinator, the HSE Advisor will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of safety and health systems and processes across the operations, providing a high degree of safety and health support and advice to all personnel on site. This includes the facilitation and guidance for incident management and investigations, health and safety meetings, safety inspections and audits of equipment and work practices, ensuring alignment to health and safety policies and legislation. About You We are seeking a leader who is collaborative in nature, with an ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels with an ability to act with humility, respect and confidence who also has the following: Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline. Experience in a similar position, within the mining industry with an understanding of mining and minerals processing operations, preferably gold. Sound understanding in risk management, safety and health systems and legislative and statutory requirements, particularly the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Regulations (Mines) 2022. Experience in facilitation of risk management processes and incident-investigation processes (ICAM). Familiarity with INX database (InControl). Experience in workplace inspections and audits.
