Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL ) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26. Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource. The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines. Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. This will be underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, with a forecast 70-80% renewable energy penetration rate. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day function and administration of all Work Health & Safety related activities on site. As well as assisting with the development and promotion of required WHS procedures, policies and standards for site and the continuous monitoring of WHS initiatives. We have a skilled and experienced WHS Team who are committed to provide the successful applicant with Coaching & Mentoring to further develop their career in WHS. The applicant will be encouraged to join our Emergency Response Team where they will gain further valuable knowledge and skills. This is a fly in fly out role working on 8 days on and 6 days rest and recover rotation. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: Assisting with the INX Data base. Assist with the Coordination and Management of Health and Hygiene – Noise / Dust / Diesel Particulate / Water monitoring programs. Assist with Health & Safety Contractor activities for Surface and Underground. Assist with incident investigations across site. Study trend analysis from accidents/incidents, audit finding and advise management on areas of improvement. Assist with the ongoing implementation and maintenance of the site Mine Safety management System (MSMS), including all necessary Procedures, Registers, checklist etc. Help build commitment to continually improving safety performance across the organisation and build the company’s WHS capability by:Managing and promoting safety management systems such as Critical Risk Verification Promoting consultation, co-operation, effective communication, and discussion on health, safety and environmental communicating company health and safety policies, procedures, and resource Assist with Inductions and onboarding of new employees and contractors. Ensure site compliance with Company safety policies and procedures, and relevant Statutory requirements, via appropriate education, training and testing of the workforce, contactors and visitors, and ongoing checking of compliance by appropriate auditing. Develop, foster, and maintain Risk based approach. Interface with, management, employees, stakeholders, and contractors on issues related to Health & Safety. Responsible for developing and maintaining a proactive working relationship with employees and contractors on site to ensure a consistent application of Risk Management Strategies and Safety Culture programs in the field. Providing support for the day-to-day requests from all site personnel for WHS assistance. Having a visual presence on site in a supporting capacity. Develop and deliver training and awareness packages for Safety & Health initiatives. Assist with the maintenance the site Risk Register. Participate in Audits and Inspections. Provide SME assistance to incident investigations. Assist with Fit for Work testing. Assist medic/ERT where required in line with experience. Provide administrative support to the WH&S Manager and the WH&S team. Assist Project, Regional Exploration teams and the Corporate Principal Health & Safety as required. Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience/Competencies Relevant WHS certifications (As a minimum Cert 4 WHS certification, HLTPAT005) Current and Valid Driver’s license A proven commitment to the Safety and the well-being of the workforce Well-developed communication and literacy skills Excellent word processing and MS Office skills Experience in INX Data Base Previous experience working within a gold mine BGL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and building an organisation which provides equal opportunities for all its employees with the objective of attracting, retaining, and developing a workforce that is representative of the wider community.
