Competitive hourly rate – Casual with a view to Permanent Western Work Force is an Australian owned recruitment company and are a market leader in providing temporary, contract and permanent staffing solutions across various industry sectors. Our leading Civil/Construction client is currently looking for an experienced HSE Advisor on FIFO 8:6 basis to oversee all compliance and safety matters on their major projects on various locations. This position will have a main focus to ensure HSEQ standards are met and processes adhered to whilst developing a zero-harm culture across workplace. Key duties and responsibilities: Lead health, safety, environment governance and strategy. Promote a safe working environment and the ongoing development of risk management principles. Promote safety awareness, injury, and incident prevention. Make improvements and further develop HSE Management System and processes. Risk assessment, environmental and regulatory compliance, injury management and rehabilitation and the coordination of operational training and development. Advise on internal policies, procedures, and standards. Monitor legislative changes and take appropriate measures to ensure compliance is maintained. Ensure correct systems in place for hazardous work. Train and mentor staff members in safety and compliance. Incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action management. Work to HSE Targets and Objectives. Manage the HSE Online Management System. Regular reporting to Senior Management. Qualifications, Skills and Experience required: Minimum diploma in OHS or WHS. Cert IV in Training and Assessing Qualified Trainer and Assessor. 3 Years minimum experience gained in the Mining, Maintenance, Civil or Construction. Previous FIFO experience. Strong analytical skills. Drug and Alcohol screening. Ability to pass full medical including muscular fit and fitness assessment.
