About This Role Provides best‑practice case‑management advice and support to Community Correctional Services (CCS). Fixed‑term, full‑time opportunity until 08/08/2026. Salary: $113,022 – $136,747 plus superannuation. About The Business Unit Justice Services directs, manages and operates Victoria’s Community Correctional Services (CCS) across more than 35 locations, ensuring individuals are safely managed in the community and rehabilitated by addressing the underlying causes of offending behaviour. Community Operations and Parole provides central end‑to‑end oversight of the CCS service system, including System Integrity and Workforce Capability (SIWC), Practice Development and Review Branch, Court Assessment and Prosecutions Services Central Unit, Statewide Community Work and Partnerships, and Parole Central Unit. It also supports the Adult Parole Board Secretariat to ensure effective board operations. About The Role SIWC is responsible for delivering best‑practice interventions that reduce re‑offending risk, through quality assurance systems for risk assessment and case management, and high‑quality learning and development programmes for the CCS workforce. Responsibilities The Case Management Practice Lead will provide expert advice to CCS staff, contributing to the integrity, implementation and embedding of continuous practice improvement. Responsibilities may include: Supporting and advising specific CCS regions. Developing and implementing priority strategic projects. Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships. Overseeing contracted services. Traveling to regional locations as needed. Duties Providing leadership and guidance to CCS practitioners and managers to encourage best practice case management. Contributing to practice development and delivering professional development and training. Providing training, mentoring, role‑modeling and authoritative advice on case management for community‑based dispositions. About You Demonstrated expertise in best‑practice case management and related practices in a forensic setting. Strong knowledge of CCS operations and key challenges facing Justice Services, Corrections Victoria, or similar organisations. Familiarity with Victorian government administrative processes is desirable. Qualifications A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
