About the opportunity Due to our accelerated growth strategy, we are currently recruiting for an experienced installer and maintenance technician based in our Newcastle office. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a high-profile brand supplying products and services to government, civil, commercial, industrial, and domestic building sectors. The successful candidate will be tasked with the on-site installation and maintenance of our solar powered technology-based security cameras and solutions throughout the greater Newcastle region. Key Responsibilities Delivery, installation, and maintenance of our solar powered cameras Providing exceptional service to existing client base Complete all delivery related paperwork including vehicle safety checklists Our ideal candidate will have: Proven experience (minimum 6 months) in on-site deliveries and installations using a Hiab crane or similar An aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting A high regard for safety and following established procedures HR or MR truck licence Forklift licence (LF) is desirable Previous experience with electrical and solar components Security licence advantageous, or ability to obtain: Requires a National Police Check, NSW driver's licence, and you need to be an Australian/New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a visa to work in Australia (not including student or working holiday visa) This role would be well suited if you are: Motivated, hardworking, and able to work autonomously Good with hand tools Tech savvy Able to have a planned approach to all tasks Able to work as part of a small team We are seeking an initiative-taker with a "can do" approach and a strong focus on customer service.
