Teacher - Primary role at Department of Education, Western Australia . This is a 12‑month fixed‑term, full‑time position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension or permanency. This recruitment pilot simplifies the application process. A mandatory CV template is attached. Application requires a character‑limited response to only two AITSL domains at the application stage. Role We are seeking a teacher with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students and colleagues. You will quickly establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment, set high expectations, cultivate a growth mindset and nurture social and emotional development. Your work will be in a high‑performance, high‑care setting where classrooms are well‑presented and equipped. You should be motivated, accountable for best practice, and able to work with whole‑school connected practice, collaborative teams and a commitment to professional growth. You should have experience in high‑impact teaching strategies, designing literacy and numeracy programmes, differentiating for diverse needs and using assessment tools for progress and feedback.
