Production Designer - Sports Uniforms and Apparel iAthletic DNA: We are a prominent basketball teamwear supplier known for our innovative designs, cuts and quality. Our mission is to provide athletes with elite teamwear that elevates their look and feel, both on and off the court. We are seeking a dedicated and talented Production Designer to join our fun and creative team, looking to contribute to the continual success of the business. Position: Production Designer Location: Thornbury, Victoria Type: Part time (with potential for full time) Role and Responsibilities Transforming concept uniforms and apparel designs into accurate and print-ready layouts. Collaborating with the sales and design team to understand and interpret design concepts accurately. Ensuring that designs align with technical specifications and production requirements. Liaising closely with our factory partners to communicate design specifications. Reviewing designs for accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail. Effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of design layouts. Contributing innovative ideas to enhance design processes and overall look. Assisting in the creation of design storyboards and conceptual design presentations, when necessary. Qualifications and Skills Experience as a Production Designer or a similar role in the apparel industry. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is essential, with the ability to efficiently create and edit vector-based designs. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is preferred, though not mandatory. Strong understanding of design principles, fonts and pantone colours. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Detail-oriented mindset. A creative approach to problem-solving and a willingness to work in a team. Interest in IA integration to assist with daily tasks in the future. Passion for basketball and sports apparel design is a plus. Opportunity to work with a dynamic and creative team.
