Operating from our state‑of‑the‑art Epping facility, we are a future‑focused company dedicated to delivering innovative, high‑quality products. Our manufacturing processes and facility are optimised to maximise efficiency, build quality, and ensure every component delivers both functional and aesthetic value to our customers. About the Role We are seeking a full‑time Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of all aspects of our caravans, from initial concept through to production. Working closely with both our small design team and on‑site production staff, you will ensure designs are innovative, functional, and buildable. This role is 100% on‑site at our Epping facility. Key Responsibilities Develop manufacture‑ready 3D designs and production drawings for furniture components using SolidWorks. Collaborate with the production team to refine and improve existing designs for efficiency and quality. Design composite panels and aluminium frame components, liaising effectively with external suppliers. Review and assess new supplier parts for production suitability, in coordination with supply chain and procurement teams. Manage prototype builds, assist the production team, and implement feedback to ensure final designs meet standards. Research market trends and analyse product feasibility to support innovative design solutions. Baseline Requirements Tertiary qualification in Design Engineering, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field. 2–3 years of relevant industry experience. High proficiency in creating and maintaining complex 3D CAD models (SolidWorks preferred). Strong ability to produce accurate technical drawings for production. Experience applying DFM/A (Design for Manufacture & Assembly) principles. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Highly Regarded Skills & Attributes Prior experience in the caravan, RV, or related industry. Trade background or hands‑on manufacturing experience. Knowledge of power management systems for off‑grid and camping environments. Understanding of 3‑axis CNC machining and associated design requirements. Experience creating technical documentation and SOPs. Ability to create SolidWorks macros to automate design functions. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. Experience working with ERP software.
