The Opportunity We’re looking for an organised, customer‑focused New Bookings Assistant to join our New Bookings team. This is a fast‑paced role where you’ll be the first point of contact for new customers – responding to enquiries, preparing quotes, and converting leads into confirmed bookings. Working full‑time 8:30 am–5:00 pm, you’ll play a key role in the customer journey, ensuring every new customer has a smooth, professional experience from their first enquiry through to their first clean. What You’ll Be Doing Respond promptly and professionally to incoming enquiries via phone, e‑mail, and web forms. Ask the right questions to understand customer needs and provide accurate quotes. Secure bookings and convert incoming leads into confirmed jobs. Prepare, send, and manage service agreements. Work closely with Cleaning Quality Agents and cleaners to support in‑person quoting and special service requests. Match cleaners with the right jobs based on availability, skills, and customer requirements. Liaise with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover of new customers into ongoing service. Follow systems and processes accurately while keeping detailed records in our systems. What We’re Looking For Experience in a fast‑paced customer service, call centre, bookings, or service‑based business. Confident phone manner and the ability to build rapport quickly. Strong attention to detail when quoting and entering booking information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to juggle multiple enquiries and tasks without dropping the detail. Fast and accurate computer skills, comfortable working across multiple systems. Why Join Us? Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 + Super (based on experience). Hybrid work model: 2 days in our Thornbury office, 3 days from home (after 4–8 weeks full‑time office training).
