At CORE Cabinetry, we specialise in delivering high-quality, custom joinery solutions for commercial, hospitality, and retail projects across Australia. With a reputation for precision craftsmanship and seamless project delivery, we are seeking a Joinery Draftsmen / Coordinator with strong design and documentation skills to support our growing team. CORE Cabinetry is part of the CORE Group, working closely with CORE 4, our commercial construction company, to supply bespoke joinery for their projects. This role will give you exposure to a broad range of project types while working alongside experienced builders, designers, and cabinet makers. This role will suit someone with a background in joinery or cabinet making who also has strong design and drafting capability . You’ll play a key role in supporting both the production and delivery of projects — from developing shop drawings through to ordering materials, client communication, and coordination with the workshop. Key Responsibilities Design & Drafting: Prepare accurate and buildable shop drawings (using AutoCAD, Pytha, Cabinet Vision, or similar) in collaboration with the Head Cabinet Maker. Project Administration: Manage day-to-day administration including material ordering, scheduling, and supplier coordination. Client Collaboration: Work with clients to capture design requirements, present drawing solutions, and confirm details. Production Support: Liaise with cabinet makers to ensure drawings are practical, accurate, and ready for production. Documentation & Quality: Maintain accuracy and quality across project documentation, improving templates and processes where required. About You Background in joinery, cabinet making, or a related trade with a strong understanding of construction methods and materials. Skilled in drafting and design software (AutoCAD, Pytha, Cabinet Vision, CabMaster, or similar). Experience producing clear, buildable shop drawings with attention to detail. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to contribute design solutions. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Why CORE Cabinetry?
