Production and Packaging Team Members

That's Amore Cheese is a leading producer of authentic Italian‑style cheese, located in Thomastown, Melbourne. Our artisanal cheeses are crafted using traditional methods and high‑quality Australian milk, resulting in delicious products that are loved by customers. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our production team as Production team members in general and our packing area. In this role, you will play a vital part in the cheese‑making process, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The roles are casual, with full‑time hours from Monday to Friday, with potential ongoing permanent employment. We are expanding our team and looking for motivated individuals to fill the following roles: Production Team Members Shift time approx. 9am – 5:30pm – and later in peak season until approx. 6:30pm Assist in the production of high‑quality cheese products Operate basic equipment and follow recipes/processes Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met Work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment Packaging Team Members Shift time approx. 9am – 5:30pm – and later in peak season until approx. 6:30pm Accurately pack and scan various cheese products into the correct packaging materials Apply labels and date codes as per specifications Use of a pallet jack Palletising What We’re Looking For: Experience in food manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial cleaning (preferred but not essential) A genuine interest in Italian cheese and traditional methods of production Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Great work ethic and willingness to lean A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Ability to lift 15‑20 kg Great interpersonal and communication skills Why Join Us?
