Overview Hospitality work without the hospitality hours – get your life back while remaining creative with food Join our team as a Relieving Assistant Cook working across our residential sites including regional locations - Mt Gambier, Port Elliot and Murray Bridge This is a permanent part time opportunity Resthaven offers you regular, daytime working hours, giving you a healthy work life balance and job continuity. Responsibilities You will assist our residents by preparing nourishing meals in consultation with individual care plans and taking into consideration special dietary needs. Exercise your culinary prowess using quality fresh ingredients to create appealing menus for residents, with colour and texture appropriate for a diverse clientele. You will get to know your diners and their preferences and take pride in contributing to their enjoyment of everyday life. Qualifications & Experience Experience in food handling and preparation services. Experience in Aged Care or a similar field, with a proven ability to lead a team and manage a kitchen. Knowledge of food safety legislation, IDDSI and allergens. Possess a passionate, creative, and a can-do attitude.
