About the team Our Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) are an even smarter and easier way to fulfil online orders and deliver the smiles for our customers. Your role, no matter where you are at a CFC, will have a direct contribution to every customer's order. At the forefront of driving innovation, you’ll be part of redefining the customer experience in online grocery shopping. The first of their kind in Australia, our CFCs help provide customers with improved availability and freshness, a broader produce range and a seamless digital experience. About the role You will be responsible and accountable for the performance of the Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) from an inventory and fulfilment operations perspective. You will: Implement and deliver a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the organisation based on Lean principles. Lead inventory planning and execution to achieve Coles KPIs for safety, customer experience, cost, fulfilment and delivery. Manage the operations by overseeing exceptional inventory management processes to optimise fulfilment, reduce waste and improve customer experience. Identify solutions within the four walls of the CFC to optimise availability. Support Operational management to drive a structured approach to safe and efficient operations, with a focus on people and cost management. About you and your skills We’re looking for an experienced inventory leader who has had exposure to an automated DC, with a passion for developing processes and growing a continuous improvement culture. You will also need: Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline. Experience in DC or e‑commerce fulfillment operations, with accountability for driving safety, financial & operational performance, including optimising inventory quality and availability outcomes. Ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment, whilst ensuring key deliverables are met. Ability to utilise key financial data and operational metrics to drive performance improvements and outcomes.
