Solbar is a Sunshine Coast institution — renowned for its vibrant live music, great food, quality drinks, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. We're searching for an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead our team and help deliver an exceptional hospitality experience. As Venue Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Solbar, ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards, and driving a positive team culture. You'll work closely with the owners and leadership team to keep Solbar at the heart of Maroochydore's social and live music scene. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily venue operations, including bar, floor and events Lead, train, and inspire a large team of hospitality professionals Manage rostering, stock control, and cost targets Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety regulations Uphold and elevate the Solbar brand through exceptional customer service Collaborate on promotions, events, and live music programming Drive revenue growth and deliver strong business performance About You Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior hospitality or venue management role Have an RMLV and Approved Managers Licence Proven leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and organisational abilitiesStrong understanding of Queensland licensing and compliance laws Passion for live music, great food, and community Why Work with Us Competitive salary package Work in a dynamic, creative, and community-focused venue A supportive and passionate team who love what they do Watch the best local, touring and international musicians and comedians If you're a hands-on leader who thrives in a buzzing, high-energy environment, we'd love to hear from you.
