About the role Due to ongoing growth, Parabellum are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in scaling our business, working closely with technical experts, marketing, and leadership to drive revenue growth and expand market share. In this role you will.. Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across SME, Enterprise, Government, and ASX-listed organisations. Manage the entire sales cycle: from lead generation and qualification, through proposal development, to negotiation and deal closure. Build, nurture, and grow long-term client relationships, ensuring alignment between client needs and Parabellum’s specialist security services. Partner with the delivery and consulting teams to scope solutions and articulate clear value propositions to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting to senior leadership. Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and thought leadership initiatives. Represent Parabellum at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Recruit, retain & support the development of team members, contributing to a culture of excellence and collaboration. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of professional B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, IT services, or professional services . Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, trends, and services (knowledge of penetration testing, red teaming, or security consulting highly regarded). Ability to translate complex technical services into compelling business value for diverse stakeholders (from engineers to C-suite). Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Proficiency with CRM platforms & digital sales tools Strong client collaboration skills with a consultative, solutions-driven approach. Australia/NZ permanent residency or citizenship. Must pass a criminal history check. Nice to haves Established network within the cybersecurity or technology sector. Experience selling into government or critical infrastructure sectors. Exposure to frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or Essential Eight. Strong background in account management. Experience working alongside technical teams in scoping and pre-sales activities.
