The position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on mental health outcomes across South Western Sydney. Where You'll Be Working SWSLHD Community Mental Health Services provide comprehensive, community-based mental health care across South Western Sydney. These services cater to different age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and older persons, ensuring specialised care throughout various life stages. The multidisciplinary teams offer a range of supports, including mental health assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and therapy. They work closely with inpatient services, GPs, and other community organisations to provide holistic care. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD. Can you describe a time when you provided clinical leadership through mentorship or preceptorship that led to improved learning outcomes or collaboration within your unit? What strategies did you use to support adult learning principles and ensure safe, compassionate care? How have you contributed to the planning and delivery of clinical education that aligns with organisational goals and professional standards? Please include how you ensured compliance with relevant codes of conduct and ethical guidelines. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
