Workshop Hose Assembly Fitter We are seeking a reliable and skilled workshop hose assembly fitter to join our dynamic team in Thornton. In this role, you will provide efficient, accurate, and high‑quality manufacturing services for our hose assembly and hose management programs both in our factory and on site. You will also support the warehouse and customer service teams as required, contributing positively to the overall success of our branch. Key Responsibilities Manufacture and test hose assemblies to Australian Standards Perform workshop duties including works orders, scheduling, fitting, and cleaning tasks Safely represent the company when on site, adhering to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness Use computer systems to manage stock control, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer enquiries Assist with stock receiving, storage, inventory checks, and maintenance of a clean, safe working environment What we are looking for Previous experience in hose assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred Strong knowledge of workshop procedures and safety practices Forklift licence preferred but not essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Physically fit to perform manual handling including lifting items over 25kg, reaching, twisting, and pushing trolleys Capability to work in both internal and external environments safely What we offer Performance-based incentives Access to employee benefits , including discounts on products and services.
