Overview We are seeking a Sales Analyst to join our Commercial team and provide high-level analytical support to drive data-informed decisions and support business growth. The Sales Analyst will analyse, organise and interpret sales, customer and product data to provide insights that support strategic decisions across pricing, forecasting, customer performance and product optimisation. This role is essential in ensuring data integrity, improving reporting systems and enabling Profresh to maximise commercial performance. Task & responsibilities Collect, analyse and interpret sales, customer and product-category data to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Develop and maintain analytical dashboards, forecasting tools and KPI reports to support commercial planning. Evaluate data relating to sales performance, seasonal patterns, profitability, customer behaviour and product lifecycle. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making across Sales, Operations, Procurement and Executive teams. Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends and market conditions; prepare reports for internal stakeholders. Organise and manage large sets of complex data from multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Document analytical processes, reporting frameworks and data-management standards. Support business improvement initiatives, new product evaluations, customer segmentation and portfolio optimisation. Conduct ad-hoc investigations and prepare strategic briefing papers to guide organisational planning. Contribute to the development of internal knowledge systems and information management processes. Qualification & experience Skills & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or similar. Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in an analytical, sales-analysis or business-analysis role. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel and experience in dashboards (Power BI, Tableau). Ability to interpret and communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders. Experience analysing sales metrics, product performance, customer trends and pricing structures. High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to prioritise multiple tasks. Experience working with ERP/CRM systems and integrating data from multiple sources. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Desirable: Experience in FMCG, produce, fresh food or supply-chain environments. SQL or database querying experience. Exposure to forecasting, statistical modelling or scenario analysis.
