The main responsibilities will include: Provide expert urban design advice during planning and development applications to ensure alignment with planning controls urban design principles and strategic objectives. Analyse and review development proposals to support high-quality built form outcomes in line with Councils vision. Lead and manage urban design projects through all stages from feasibility and concept development to detailed design and implementation. Support the promotion of urban designs value within Council and the wider Frankston community. This is a full-time position. About you Tertiary qualification in Urban Design Architecture or Landscape Architecture. Minimum 8 years experience in urban design within local government or a similar setting. Expert knowledge of urban design principles and planning frameworks with the ability to assess development proposals and provide high-level advice that supports design excellence and Councils vision.
