Located in the heart of Castle Hill, Hillside Hotel offers a unique experience that will keep you coming back for more. We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. The successful applicant will need to have exceptional management skills and experience in a fast-paced venue. This is a full-time position, and the role will report directly to the General Manager. You will be responsible for assisting in leading the team culture, customer experience and the compliant operation of the hotel. ABOUT THE ROLE: Accountability for achieving all revenue targets and having an agile approach to managing the business to ensure these targets are met. Strictly adhere to and enforce all company policies to ensure the business is run effectively and efficiently. Deliver all HR requirements for the business, including training, coaching, succession planning and developing talent pipelines for all leadership roles. Oversee all operational requirements of the business including marketing, security, maintenance, food and beverage service, sales and events, gaming and cash management. Maintain highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency in accordance with company's expectations. ABOUT YOU: Proven excellence in Operations or Venue Management in a large multifaceted venue. Compliance expertise, licensee experience will be highly regarded. Possess a comprehensive set of food and beverage service and operations skills and a focus on customer service. Team oriented approach to management with a mindset of open communications. Capable of building and managing relationships with multiple departments, stakeholders as well as key customers. Immaculate presentation paralleled with hands on service delivery.
