About the Role We’re seeking a skilled Dayforce Payroll Analyst to join our Project Horizon team and play a pivotal role in transitioning payroll operations from Preceda to Dayforce. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be hands‑on in testing, process optimisation, go‑live support, hypercare, and training to ensure a seamless migration. Key Responsibilities Support the migration from Preceda to Dayforce, ensuring accurate data transfer and system configuration. Support and execute payroll UAT activities, including test case development, defect tracking, and validation. Conduct and reconcile parallel payroll runs to ensure accuracy and compliance. Identify manual payroll processes and recommend automation opportunities. Provide hands‑on support during go‑live and hypercare, resolving payroll‑related issues promptly. Assist with developing and delivering training materials to support payroll staff and stakeholders. Collaborate with People & Culture, Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure successful implementation. Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes. About You Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Payroll Analyst role Hands‑on Dayforce experience is essential Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and data integrity Skilled in UAT execution, defect resolution, and process optimisation Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver results Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality A genuine willingness to embrace challenges and contribute to shared goals A preparedness to work within the ethos of the Uniting Church in Australia.
