Responsibilities Partner with customers to understand their goals, challenges, and technical requirements, effectively positioning the platform and identifying areas of value and differentiation. Design, build, and deliver tailored demos and presentations that communicate key business outcomes. Take technical ownership of sales opportunities, managing most aspects of the sales cycle independently, including technical validation and objection handling. Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously and ensure smooth collaboration across sales, product, and partner teams. Research and respond to RFIs and RFPs, providing clear, comprehensive input and sharing learnings with internal teams. Support and enable partners through joint opportunity development, product education, and technical enablement. Stay current with product updates, demo content, and competitive positioning, and proactively incorporate enhancements into presentations and demos. Present confidently at all levels of a customer’s organization, articulating the strategic and technical business value of the platform. Contribute to demand generation activities, including marketing events, webinars, and customer workshops. Continuously develop product expertise through training and self-directed learning to maintain up-to-date knowledge of new releases and capabilities. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Consultant supporting enterprise software sales, ideally in Business Intelligence, Data & AI, or Analytics. Strong familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, SAP Analytics Cloud, Looker, or MicroStrategy . Working knowledge of AI concepts, prompt engineering, and modern analytics trends . Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and data engineering principles. Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, Synapse ). Experience with SaaS and cloud-based architectures on major hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure ). Ability to present complete Data + Analytics architectures to technical and business stakeholders. Training or familiarity with value-based selling methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Force Management, Demo2Win). Proven success in supporting complex enterprise sales cycles. Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Collaborative, self-motivated, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
