Experienced Barista's / All Rounder Hospitality Professionals An exciting opportunity has emerged at Mermaid Beach SLSC Supporters Club, Merlina's Restaurant, for Experienced Barista's / All Rounders Hospitality Professionals. The Restaurant here at Mermaid, Merlina's has made the decision to open for 7 days Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. This will change the entire dynamics of the club just in time for the Summer 2025/26. The ideal candidates will be a proactive and energetic individuals with a strong background in cafe & licensed restaurants. You should possess extensive experience in the hospitality industry, a history of delivering premium customer service, and an understanding of the importance of leading from the front line. You will join a diverse team of hospitality professionals, where you'll foster a positive and productive work environment. You are joining one of the most humble organisations there is, Surf Life Saving. A Family Culture that must be protected. Our Club at Mermaid Beach is a small to medium-sized venue, featuring our award-winning Merlina's Restaurant, a bar, 24 EGM's with TAB Sports Bar & Keno facilities. We pride ourselves on a hands‑on approach and premium customer service. To be successful in this role, you will have (experience / skills). Excellent presentation and attention to detail. Minimum 2 years barista experience in a high‑volume environment Deep knowledge of coffee, including brewing techniques, latte art, and equipment handling. Strong planning and organisational skills. Ability to work a flexible roster, working evenings and weekends A commitment not only to your own progression but also to the progression of our team and the business, leading by example and professionalism.
