KingKira Group is a 100% female Aboriginal‑owned environmental services business with operations based in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The company focuses on sustainable waste management and industrial services solutions. The role is based in the Perth Head Office south of the Perth CBD, with excellent transport links. We are experiencing our next phase of growth and diversification, and we are seeking a hands‑on individual to support the CFO and partner with the management accounting team. The successful candidate will be the pivotal financial accountant in a small finance team, delivering the Group’s corporate and statutory reporting. Responsibilities Preparation of general‑purpose annual financial reports for ASIC; Monthly consolidated accounts for Board reporting; Assist in the preparation of monthly board papers; Support the management accounting team in month‑end close; Liaise with auditors for annual group audits; Supervise the payroll function; Lodge statutory returns such as BAS, PAYG, payroll tax; Maintain consolidated cash‑flow forecasts and quarterly covenant reporting; Equity accounting for joint ventures; Formulate accounting policies and procedures. Qualifications Minimum five (5) years of senior experience in a similar role within a financial accounting environment; CPA/CA qualified; Sound technical knowledge in statutory, reporting and taxation; Ability to interpret and apply accounting standards; Ability to work autonomously and partner with stakeholders in the business; Self‑awareness with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships; Experience in Project ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central and Power BI desirable) and accomplished Excel skills; A commitment to safety, demonstrating integrity and upholding the organisation’s values.
