We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Financial Accountant to join our Perth-based Finance team through the next phase of business optimisation and efficiencies. Join a global leader that feeds innovation, drives hospitality, and powers possibility The Role: The General Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring the financial sustainability of Compass Group Australia. Responsibilities include providing technical accounting expertise, managing the financial control framework, overseeing audits and annual reports, and managing cash flow and balance sheets. The Financial Accountant will work with senior team members to deliver high-quality financial processing and reporting, supporting accurate and informed decision-making. Main Responsibilities: Prepare and assist with month-end processes such as journals and reconciliations. Improve financial reconciliations and processes. Assist with external audit procedures. Assist in preparing statutory accounts. Assist with BAS and FBT returns. Support ad hoc accounting duties as required. Engage in business partnering and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. About You: Working towards CA/CPA qualification. Minimum 2 years of professional experience preferred. Proactive, hardworking, with a high level of accountability. Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines. Strong teamwork skills and a focus on continuous improvement. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
