Set in the heart of South Australia's wine country, our restaurant offers a seasonal menu that pairs perfectly with our award-winning wines — and we’re looking for a Sous Chef who shares our commitment to quality, creativity, and hospitality. About the Role As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Executive Chef to help lead kitchen operations, develop seasonal menus, and ensure a consistently high standard of food preparation, taste and presentation. You'll help mentor junior kitchen staff, assist in managing day-to-day prep and service, and contribute ideas that elevate our food and wine experience. Key Responsibilities Support and collaborate with the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations Supervise and train kitchen staff, maintaining a positive and efficient team environment Assist in menu planning with a focus on local produce and wine pairings Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and presentation Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen hygiene compliance (HACCP) What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sous Chef or Senior CDP role Passion for food and wine Creative, organised, and calm under pressure Strong leadership skills and a hands‑on approach Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Cert III or above) What We Offer Opportunity to work in a stunning vineyard location with a passionate team Career growth within a respected and growing brand Staff discounts on food, wine, and events Work‑life balance with a structured roster 1 prep day, 4 lunch services.
