Fire and Safety Australia are looking for experienced Emergency Services Officers to join our team for ongoing, short‑notice casual roles—available over the Xmas/NY period. These roles are FIFO from Perth to various remote locations in the Pilbara. Work can be unpredictable so you will need to be available at short notice. We would prefer you have a minimum of 6 months experience on a Rio Tinto site. However, this requirement is flexible for candidates with relevant experience on other mine sites or those who demonstrate a strong drive to succeed. We’re especially interested in individuals who are looking to grow their careers in emergency response and are keen to pursue further qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Health Care. This role is available for immediate start—You must be residing in WA to be considered for this role. Qualifications / Requirements Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue – Including Vertical and Confined Space Rescue / Fire Team Ops Operate and maintain a 4WD Current MR / HR Drivers Licence White Card Rio Tinto Sap Induction – Ideally Current CPR – (No older than a year) Current Police Clearance – (No older than a year) Minimum 6 Months on a Rio Tinto site Please note only short listed candidates will be contacted.
