We are seeking a dynamic and experienced State Manager – QLD to lead and grow our operations for a leading national commercial cleaning business. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader to take ownership of the Queensland business, driving growth, operational excellence, and strong client partnerships. About the Role: Reporting to the National Executive Team, the State Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the Queensland business. You will lead a motivated team, manage client relationships at a senior level, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services across a diverse portfolio. This role offers autonomy, accountability, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities: Full responsibility for the P&L of the Queensland business, delivering sustainable growth and profitability. Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing operations and support team. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring service excellence and retention. Drive business development opportunities across existing and new accounts. Implement best practice operational systems, processes, and compliance frameworks. Act as a visible, hands‑on leader across sites, clients, and teams. About You: You are a proven leader with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to deliver in fast-paced, high-growth businesses. With experience in soft services, facilities management, or trade services , you will bring operational discipline, client focus, and an ability to drive performance. To be successful, you will demonstrate: A track record of successfully managing P&L and delivering growth. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead teams from the front. Proven client engagement and relationship management expertise. Commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth with operational excellence. Experience in services industries such as cleaning, facilities, trade, or related sectors.
