Job Description - Manager Regulatory Practice (0000B4L0) Manager Regulatory Practice - 0000B4L0 Shape the Commission’s future with a clear, consistent regulatory framework Inspire and develop a team to deliver results and lead change About the Role The Manager Regulatory Practice is responsible for developing and implementing a clear and consistent strategic framework for exercising the Commission’s regulatory responsibilities. It ensures the Commission is aligned with relevant laws, policies, and regulatory best practices, while also managing risk and influencing future regulatory policy. The role is an Ongoing Full-time position. About the NSW Electoral Commission The New South Wales Electoral Commission delivers trusted and independent systems, processes, oversight and engagement that support democracy in New South Wales. Running and regulating elections Communicating and engaging with current and future voters, key NSW community stakeholders and NSW election participants Investigating possible offences and enforcing electoral and lobbying laws such as the Electoral Act 2017 and the Electoral Funding Act 2018. Extensive experience in the development, implementation and review of regulatory strategy and practice approaches. Experience managing a team in regulatory or compliance environment. Extensive experience in the provision of high-level advice related to policy, programs, issues and reforms. Politically neutral with no current or past affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners. Satisfactory criminal record check result.
