Operations Manager - Exhibition Delivery Xzibit is a leading experience design and build company, delivering large-scale exhibitions, trade shows and brand activations across Australia. We are known for translating bold ideas into flawlessly executed physical experiences. As our Exhibitions division continues to grow, we are seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to lead the delivery engine of this fast-paced part of the business. This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role that blends strategy, systems, and execution. The Opportunity As Operations Manager – Exhibitions, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of all projects, from client handover through to build, install, pack‑down and bump‑out. You will own the operational rhythm of the division – driving efficiency, accountability, margin control and delivery excellence. You will work at the intersection of: Client Management Production & fabrication People leadership Systems & process improvement Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Exhibition division project team Translate sales pipelines into delivery capacity and project plans Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Xzibit’s quality standard Project & Delivery Oversight Oversee multiple concurrent project build and installs across all procurement and build elements As a vertically integrated business, you will work with our Design, Audio‑Visual and Production teams together with external suppliers, fabricators and manufacturers, to execute each project Manage risk, resourcing and scheduling across all Exhibition projects Drive consistency in documentation, handovers and delivery frameworks Ensure clients are informed of sign‑offs and kept involved in their project progression through to handover Systems & Process Improvement Implement and refine operational systems, workflows and reporting, within our established framework Build scalable processes to support growth Introduce clear RACI, accountability and decision frameworks Own job profitability and cost control Work closely with finance on WIP, invoicing and margin protection Identify efficiencies and commercial improvements Leadership & Culture Lead and develop Project Managers, Project Coordinator, Lead Installer, Warehouse Team, and contractors Build a culture of ownership, clarity and delivery focus Drive performance through structure and empowerment, not micro‑management About You Thrives in fast‑paced build, events, or exhibition environments Brings structure where others bring chaos Is commercially sharp and delivery‑obsessed Can zoom out strategically and dive in operationally when needed 7+ years in operations, production or project delivery leadership Proven experience in expos, exhibitions, events, fabrication or construction environments Strong people leadership and performance management capability Excellent planning, scheduling and operational problem‑solving skills Highly Regarded Experience scaling operations in a growing business ERP or job management system experience Trade, construction or fabrication background Why Join Xzibit?
