A State Government body is seeking an experienced ICT Technical Officer to join their Corporate Services division. This role plays a critical part in supporting essential public services including housing assistance, homelessness support, local government advisory services, regional planning, public works, and industry regulatory reform. Your contribution will help make a difference in the community every single day. Reporting to the Team Leader - Identity Management & MS365, you'll join a collaborative team of ICT specialists responsible for maintaining and supporting a large and complex technology environment. The department's infrastructure is primarily Microsoft-based with some Linux systems. Key Responsibilities Assist with the installation, maintenance, and support of ICT infrastructure across a variety of technologies, including Active Directory. Scripting: PowerShell, JSON, Bicep. Server Management: Patching (SCCM, AUM). Backup and Restore (Azure Recovery Services Vaults, Networker, VEEAM). Provide responsive incident and problem resolution to minimise disruptions and meet performance targets. Offer advice and support to stakeholders at all levels relating to information systems and infrastructure operations. Contribute to a customer-focused culture, ensuring adherence to quality processes and continuous improvement. Collaborate effectively within the Server Team, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared outcomes. Qualifications Experience across the technologies listed above. Ability to understand and support organisational objectives and link daily tasks to broader goals. Strong task ownership, reliability, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
