About the Role As the General Sales Manager, you will take full responsibility for the performance of our New Vehicle, Pre-Owned, Finance & Insurance and Aftermarket teams. You will lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales department while ensuring every guest receives the exceptional, world‑class treatment synonymous with Lexus. Key Responsibilities Drive overall sales performance, profitability, and departmental growth Lead, coach, and develop sales consultants, valuers, and support staff Implement effective sales processes, customer retention strategies, and digital lead management Forecast, plan, and report on key sales metrics and market trends Oversee vehicle presentation, stock control, and pricing strategies Nurture strong relationships with guests, corporate clients, and internal stakeholders Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and uphold the Lexus brand ethos About You Proven leadership experience within automotive sales (luxury or high-volume preferred) Strong understanding of the retail automotive environment, customer journey, and lead conversion Exceptional communication, negotiation, and people‑management skills Data‑driven, commercially minded, and strategic in approach Passionate about luxury customer service and delivering memorable experiences Why Join Lexus of Essendon?
