Senior Server Engineer Location: Darwin City, Northern Territory, Australia Role Summary Senior Server Engineer required for Centorrino Technologies’ Professional Services team, focusing on Active Directory migration, server uplift, and infrastructure roadmap support. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Active Directory environments, supporting migration to a new AD Forest in a high‑availability setting. Design, implement, and manage VMware virtualization infrastructure aligned with VMware and ASD best practices. Implement and maintain security remediation and uplift in line with ASD and organisational requirements. Utilize monitoring, vulnerability scanning and fault‑analysis tools to troubleshoot and optimise server environments. Install, customise, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and server hardware to meet performance and service level expectations. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues collaboratively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and external service providers. Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architecture, as‑built, and configuration documentation. Work closely with stakeholders and system owners across multidisciplinary teams. Carry out duties in line with organisational safety, environmental and quality policies, values, and strategies. Essential Qualifications Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration following Microsoft and ASD guidelines. Demonstrated experience performing Active Directory migrations in high‑availability environments. Demonstrated experience implementing and managing VMware virtualization environments (ESXi, vCenter) following VMware and ASD recommendations. High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing. Ability to operate in accordance with organisational safety, environmental and quality frameworks. Desirable Qualifications Understanding of ITIL frameworks and service management principles. Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) environments and constraints (SCADA, DCS, PLC). Relevant industry certifications such as AZ‑800 / AZ‑801, MCSA / MCSE, VCP‑DCV.
