Role Overview : Working within the Product Development team located at our global head office in Kilsyth, Melbourne, we are seeking a Product Development Engineer to develop new ARB products. As part of our design team you will be involved in bringing new concepts and ideas to life through design, validation, and documentation. You will be involved in the development process from the initial concept through until release to market. This will include vehicle specific accessories and general accessories with a retail / consumer focus. What We Offer Opportunity to work with an iconic Australian brand and industry leader. Competitive salary and benefits package. Key Responsibilities include : Understanding customer requirements and converting them into design briefs. Development of products based on a design brief and agreed timeline. Communication with internal stakeholders including product management and manufacturing. Product testing and evaluation. Project documentation. Working with partner suppliers. Skills & Experience : At least 5 years of industry experience. Proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and mechanical design. Experience in working with suppliers and external manufacturing facilities. Proven experience in new product development with a retail / consumer focus. The following attributes will be highly regarded : Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes particularly sheet metal fabrication. A practical and hands-on approach to the development, fitment and testing of products. An interest in 4WDriving and outdoor activities.
