Where you'll be working SESLHD Mental Health Service, located at Kirk Place, Kogarah. Travel to other Mental Health Service sites and across the SESLHD will be required. Selection Criteria To be a person of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent. Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14(d) of the Anti-discrimination Act 1991. Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or management related field or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience as deemed appropriate by Manager of the position. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of complex issues that impact on the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in performing a range of skills within allocated timeframes. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with key stakeholders. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence to improve health outcomes. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt work practices to meet current and emerging consumer and community needs.
