The Role: CDC NSW is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join our depot at Emu Plains for night driving. As a Bus Driver, you will assist customers in reaching their destinations and meet their commitments by providing a safe and comfortable journey. This is a 21 hours permanent part-time position, with the opportunity to work weekend nights as part of the working week, so availability on weekends is essential. Key Responsibilities: Delivering a prompt and reliable transport service Carrying out pre-departure checks and reporting mechanical defects Driving effectively and efficiently while ensuring passenger safety and comfort Identifying, addressing, and reporting unsafe or unhealthy conditions, practices, or behavior in the workplace Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of road laws and company policies Collecting correct fares, issuing tickets, and checking passes Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data, and fuel and charter records Skills, Attributes, and Experience which are essential to succeed in this role: Have a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR and above) Have or be willing to obtain a NSW Bus Driver's Authority Have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check Provide your current RMS driving history Availability to work weekend nights Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health, and Safety Practices Always act SAFELY Have excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE skills Have excellent COMMUNICATION skills A positive, proactive approach and be well presented at all times Provide an Australian passport/current Australian working status Offered to you: Permanent Part Time rate - $32.71 plus penalty rates Comprehensive training Career advancement opportunities Apply for this role at CDC NSW by clicking on the “APPLY NOW” button.
