An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our growing business as a Trainee Branch Assistant, based at our Cardiff branch near Newcastle. This is an entry-level traineeship, ideal for someone starting their career or looking to change direction into warehousing and automotive operations. You’ll receive structured on-the-job and external training, working toward a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations, with the opportunity to obtain a forklift licence if required. About the Role Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll support the daily operations of the branch, assisting with customer service, stock control, order processing, and warehouse activities. You’ll be part of a supportive team and play a key role in delivering reliable service to our customers. Key Responsibilities Provide a high level of customer service in person, by phone, and electronically. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. >Receive and manage inventory correctly. Assist with warehouse duties and support delivery drivers. Learn paint mixing processes as part of your development. Follow WH&S policies and procedures at all times. About You We’re looking for someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and enjoys working as part of a team. You will have: Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions. Ability to work independently and within a team. Basic IT skills and confidence learning new systems. Current NSW driver’s licence with a clean record. An interest in the automotive industry. Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain). Previous customer service or warehousing experience.
