Posted 5 days ago Location: Belrose, NSW (On-site) About the role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Drafter to join our team on a contract basis. As a Mechanical Design Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics to support the development and production of mechanical systems and components. This is a contract role located in Belrose, NSW. What you'll be doing Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems Develop detailed design documentation including part lists, assembly drawings, and manufacturing specifications Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure design intent is accurately captured and communicated Maintain version control and document management for all design outputs Provide technical support and clarification to manufacturing and assembly teams Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for mechanical design and drafting What we're looking for Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mechanical Design Drafter or Mechanical Draftsperson Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately to specifications Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations About us Sabre Recruiting is a leading provider of engineering and technical staffing solutions.
