The Team The Admission Team delivers frontline administrative support across all admission locations, including the Ambulatory Care Centre, Nephrology South, and K7 Maternity Wards. We ensure a smooth and efficient admission process to support patient care and hospital operations. The Role Provide clerical support and assistance for all administrative functions related to the admission process within all areas of the Admissions Centre – Royal Hobart Hospital. You will need Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact with the public and staff at all levels and demonstrate effective interviewing techniques to capture accurate demographic and financial information. Experience in and a demonstrated understanding of office management practices and procedures including computerised information systems and records management processes, together with accurate data entry skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both individually and within a team‑based environment to achieve organisational objectives that are subject to specific timeframes. Details of appointment Permanent, part time, shift worker (not working weekends, but working public holidays) position, working 75 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary General Stream Band 3 $73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
