We offer excellent employee benefits and pathways for further growth.**In this role you will be responsible for**:* Lead the preparation of accurate and timely cost estimates for airports and Defence infrastructure projects, including both tender submissions and feasibility studies.* Analyse documentation (drawings, specifications, scope statements) and identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders – engineers, planners, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients – to obtain required information and validate estimates.* Prepare quantity take-offs, rate build-ups, and Bills of Quantities using industry-standard estimation software.* Evaluate and adjudicate subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring alignment with project scope and company standards.* Provide clear, professional reporting on estimate breakdowns and price rationales to senior management.* Assist with post-tender negotiations and cost review meetings.**How you’ll connect to the role:*** Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.* Significant experience in estimation, with a strong background in either airport or Defence projects.* Demonstrated proficiency in Expert Genesis estimation software or similar* Thorough understanding of Australian/New Zealand construction standards, codes, and procurement processes.* Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.* Effective communicator with proven stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple competing deadlines.Our people share the same set of values that keep us REAL.
