Senior Estimator

This is an exciting new opportunity for a Project Estimator Lead to lead and manage all estimating functions for EveryOne Homes in Parkside, South Australia, covering both Sales and Production Estimating. The role ensures accurate, efficient, and profitable estimating outcomes that support the business from initial tender through to construction delivery, enabling timely site starts, consistent pricing, and strong commercial performance. Reporting to the Estimating Team Leader, your responsibilities will include: Leading the Estimating function for EveryOne Homes in South Australia, covering both Sales and Production. Service Business Development and Sales teams with accurate pricing and tender support. Manage tender submission estimating inputs within required timeframes. Provide technical leadership to the Estimating function and support team. Drive process improvement and cost efficiency across all Estimating functions. Build collaborative relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors. Metricon will offer you: Work on diverse residential projects across infill and greenfield developments. The successful candidate will have: Certificate IV in Building Construction or Diploma in Building Construction is an advantage. Degree in an equivalent course is an added advantage. Estimating 5+ years with experience in sales and production estimating. Adequate trade background is an advantage. Working knowledge of construction processes and details is a prerequisite. Ability to coach and oversee others’ work. Competent Microsoft Office suite computer skills, particularly in Excel. Working knowledge of an estimating systems package (Databuild required, also experience in Clickhome, BusinessCraft, Timberline, WMS programs or similar).
