Application Support Lead

Our Business Systems team plays a critical role in supporting and improving the systems our people use every day. As we continue to grow and modernise our digital environment, we are looking for an Application Support Lead who enjoys problem‑solving, improving processes, and helping people get the most out of our systems. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety; balancing tickets, troubleshooting, system enhancements, data analysis and project‑based work and wants to build a long‑term career within our friendly and collaborative team. An average week in this role will involve: Application Support Managing and prioritising incoming tickets using our service desk system Troubleshooting user issues and providing support across ERP, CRM and operational applications Performing configuration updates, data fixes, bug investigations and user account management Liaising with software vendors and internal teams to resolve issues Systems Improvement & Projects Identifying process gaps and opportunities for automation Reviewing recurring incidents and recommending preventative actions Supporting system upgrades, UAT, data cleansing and testing cycles Drafting specification documents and assisting with ROI analysis Working within our project management software to manage sprints and project tasks Reporting & Documentation Extracting and analysing data, creating reports and supporting business insights Maintaining process documentation to support the Business Systems team and end‑users Communicating system changes, outages and release updates to key stakeholders Training & Stakeholder Engagement Delivering ad hoc training and onboarding sessions Collaborating across IT, Operations, Finance, Sales, Service and with external vendors Building strong relationships at all levels, acting as a friendly and approachable systems expert What it takes to succeed: Experience & Technical Skills Solid experience in application support, systems administration, or business systems Proficiency with SQL (reading queries, understanding structure) Strong intermediate/advanced Excel: VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation Experience with CRM, ticketing tools (e.g., Zendesk), and project management tools (e.g. ClickUp) Personal Qualities Naturally inquisitive with strong pattern‑recognition and analytical thinking Problem solver who enjoys diagnosing issues and finding better ways to work Calm under pressure with the ability to manage competing priorities Personable, friendly and confident engaging with technical and non‑technical users Strong written and verbal communication - able to train others clearly and produce structured documentation What’s in it for you: Join our supportive Business Systems team with genuine mentorship on offer Exposure to a wide range of systems across a national organisation A role with variety: 50% support, 50% project and improvement work Strong organisational culture with career growth potential Retail & fuel discounts, wellbeing support and employee celebrations A stable, long‑term role in a growing Australian company Apply Now if you’re a systems‑savvy problem‑solver who enjoys making applications work better for people and you’re ready to join a forward‑thinking and supportive team within Adaptalift Group. #J-18808-Ljbffr
