We are currently seeking an Import/Export Operations - Marine Logistics to join our team in Sydney, servicing the world’s major CruiseLine brands. Key responsibilities Check & Process Import Documentation Monitor cargo availability and status Arrange pre-alerts, arrival notices and outturn reports to clients Clear ocean bills / Pay shipping / landed charges electronically Collection & handover of delivery orders and EDO's Finalise invoices to clients and overseas agents & COD collection where required FCL, LCL & AIR cartage co-ordination Organise local & interstate road & rail movements Ensure all bookings received are managed in line with department KPI’s Ensure forwarding instructions & country document cut offs (e.g. USA) are sent to the shipping line and overseas in line with department KPI’s Ensure all shipments are invoiced on time and in line with department KPI’s Skills and experience Minimum 2 years Freight Forwarding experience Experience with EDI-Cargo Wise software preferred Strong communication and organisation skills Understanding of warehouse, wharf, shipping and airline procedures and processes Flexible Work/Hybrid Arrangements Employee Bonus Schemes Service Awards Lifestyle discount and Benefits Be a part of a reputable global organization Professional development with long term career opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment Plus much more At GEODIS, we believe that diversity and inclusion are essential components of our success.
