About Us Northwest Mining (NWM) is a well-established contracting company based in the Hunter Valley, with a proud history and strong reputation across mining, automotive, fabrication, and labour hire services. As our business continues to grow, we’re expanding our internal recruitment team and are now looking for an Entry Level Junior Recruiter to join our Muswellbrook based office. About the Role Working alongside an experienced recruiter, you’ll receive hands‑on training and support as you learn the ropes of end‑to‑end recruitment, from writing job ads to screening candidates and coordinating onboarding. You’ll play a key role in keeping our recruitment process running smoothly and efficiently, assisting with advertising, candidate calls, interviews, compliance, and administration. This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine interest in working with people, enjoys a professional team environment, and is eager to start a career in recruitment with opportunities for growth and long‑term career development within NWM. Your Day to Day Will Include: Creating engaging job ads that attract great candidates Screening resumes and conducting phone interviews Coordinating interviews and forwarding shortlisted candidates Calling candidates to check availability and suitability for roles Assisting candidates through the onboarding process Assisting with booking medicals and supporting inductions Maintaining candidate records and compliance documentation Helping with weekly recruitment reports and team administration tasks What We’re Looking For: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident phone manner and a genuine interest in people Highly organised with strong attention to detail Willingness to learn and grow within the role Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Experience in administration or customer service (advantageous but not essential) What We Offer: Mentorship and on the job training from an experienced recruiter Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunities for career progression within the NWM group Muswellbrook-based role Ready to Start Your Career in Recruitment?
