You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients end-to-end, supporting their bookkeeping and compliance needs with accuracy, professionalism, and care. Experience overseeing or guiding team members will be highly regarded. Perth-based candidates are preferred, however we are open to remote applicants if the right person is found. The role can be flexible for the right person 32-38hrs per week. This role suits someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset. Senior Bookkeeper – Busy Bee Bookkeepers Professional attributes Well-spoken Professional Presented Refined communication skills Diplomatic & empathetic Key Responsibilities Deliver bookkeeping and BAS agent services under the practice owner’s licence Represent our brand while managing and overseeing your own portfolio of clients Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, EOM processes, compliance and lodgements Support, train, and guide clients where needed Complete Catch-Up & Rescue Bookkeeping, file reviews, and process improvements Liaise with clients’ accountants and other stakeholders Identify growth opportunities by reviewing client needs, issues, and potential solutions Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in senior bookkeeping across multiple small business clients Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping (or willingness to obtain) — BAS Agent registration advantageous Strong experience with Xero & MYOB (essential) Karbon, Quickbooks and FilePro experience advantageous Experience with cloud add-ons and integrations advantageous Intermediate to advanced payroll processing skills National Crime Check (or willingness to obtain) Referees covering the last 5 years of employment Why You’ll Love Working With Us Ability to work from home Weekly team huddles and collaboration Local team celebrations (social events, dinners, etc.) Continuous learning, development, and growth A respected, long-standing practice with a 20-year reputation Supportive, friendly, and professional team culture Application Process If this opportunity resonates with you, we encourage you to apply.
