Marketing and Advertising Assistant – Studfield Wantirna Community Newspaper Studfield Wantirna Community News is a bi‑monthly community newspaper put together by a volunteer team of local community members. The purpose of the newspaper is to strengthen our community by providing a forum for local news and information. It gives local people an opportunity to connect with their community and to find out more about the groups, activities and services that are available. We aim to highlight local achievements, promote local businesses, support local initiatives, provide an opportunity for local people to feel connected with Wantirnas history and build a sense of identity within our community. Responsibilities Liaise with advertisers in the local distribution areas of Wantirna, Wantirna South, Knoxfield and Scoresby. Assist with the distribution of the paper in these areas. Have general knowledge of small businesses in the above areas. Have well developed interpersonal communication skills. Provide support to clients and work closely with the current committee. No specific hours, but must commit to the deadline of each edition. Receive training from the Advertising Manager.
