Job Description Manage the end-to-end record-to-report process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address queries and provide financial insights. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance. Assist in audits by preparing relevant documentation and liaising with auditors. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in the R2R function. Provide guidance and support to junior team members within the accounting and finance department. The Successful Applicant A successful Accounting Specialist should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA or CPA qualification (or working towards certification). Proven experience in record-to-report processes within the accounting and finance field. Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across all levels.
